About KSO

Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra holds most of its concerts in Kilden Performing Arts Centre in Kristiansand, southernmost Norway. 

Nathalie Stutzmann is Chief Conductor of Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. She is considered one of the most outstanding musical personalities of our time, with parallel careers as both Contralto and Conductor. 

Nathalie Stutzmann has just been announced as the Philadelphia Orchestra’s new Principal Guest Conductor from season 21/22. Other guest conducting highlights over the next two seasons include performances with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony, Orchestre Métropolitain Montreal, London Symphony, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Orchestre National de Lyon.
