Kvinesdal stretches from the fjord and beach in Feda via agricultural land to far into the mountains at Knaben. Kvinesdal offers beautiful natural experiences, cultural history, golf, excitement and a small dose of American culture.

Kvinabadet

Southern Norway's longest slide can be found at Kvinabadet, it is a whopping 63.3 meters long. In addition to the swimming pool, you will find a paddling pool for the little ones, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis and a café.

Kvinaparken

Right next to Kvinabadet you will find a large playground. Here there are shops, a great river promenade and mobile home parking.

If you are looking for a nice place to camp, there are several campsites in Kvinesdal, whether you want to stay by the river in Sarons Dal, or on the mountain at Knaben.

Spectacular view

Utsikten Hotell Kvinesdal is located on top of a mountain with a view of the Fedafjorden and the center of Kvinesdal. The hotel has a large restaurant and golf course. Everything is in place for an unforgettable inspirational weekend with trips, golf and a romantic dinner.

Utsikten Golfpark

Utsikten Golfpark is one of the country's southernmost golf courses with its own driving range and 18- and 9-hole courses. Here you will find challenges and golf experiences in silence. Utsikten Hotell also has its own golf packages with accommodation and an à la carte menu.

Knaben Mining Museum

The defunct mining community played an important role in WWII. Winston Churchill had a place in southern Norway marked on his map, namely Knaben. The history of mining, the history of war and the nature around Knaben is both dramatic, unique and real.

Knaben mountain camp

Meet the high mountain at Knaben at Knaben mountain camp. Here you will find great and easily accessible hiking terrain. Eat the packed lunch at the mountain camp or spend the night in the gapahuk.

Knaben ViaFerrata

Knaben Via Ferrata invites you on an airy climbing experience in raw nature. The focus is on adrenaline and mastery.

Historical shop

Knaben Landhandel opened in 1934, time has stood still here but the krambua is alive and well and is Knaben's gathering place throughout the year. Here it is decorated with homemade items that you can buy and everything from soaps, wrought iron, ceramics, knitwear, wooden items, ice cream and food is sold.

"Over a cup of music and laughter, you can take a break from the action, hear news or check out some of the fine handicrafts available from home-made products."

Torvløbakkan Gard

Torvløpakkan Gard is a farm holiday for young and old. Taste traditional food from Fjotland, spend the night in Kårstua and visit the animals that live on the farm. The hosts also offer cooking classes and are happy to tell good stories about life at Knaben.

Historical Feda

In earlier times, Feda was a natural and central place for trade. Here there was a warm and good harbor for the sailing ships. Dutch sailing ships entered the fjord and there was an active trade and shop environment. One of Norway's first post offices was also established here in the 17th century.

Bøkkerbua

Around 1810, large-scale herring fishing began in South-West Norway. The need for barrels to store the herring arose and barrel production was started. At most there were 12 book workshops at Feda. Today there is only one left. Bøkkerbua which displays this craft and is open to visitors during the summer season.

Waldemar´s gallery

Waldemar's gallery is located right next to Feda church, and is an experience for the whole family. Here you will find exhibitions by local artists and a separate jewelry workshop in scenic surroundings.

Sande skjærgårdspark

Feda's own sandy beach at Sande skjærgårdspark is shallow and family-friendly. Here you will find a public barbecue hut, benches, tables, toilet etc. At Feda, you can also experience the fantastic view from Kvinesdal's own "Pulpit" called Skomakertippen or from Dyreknuden, a higher and more spectacular vantage point.

The daytrip cabin Fjordsyn

The view from Kvinesdal´s new daytrip cabin, Fjordsyn, is a sight not to miss. On the way up, you can look for articifical heads placed in the nature.
