Bragdøya

The archipelago

You can’t talk about Southern Norway and Kristiansand without mentioning the archipelago. Kristiansand’s archipelago is one of the most beautiful in Norway, with countless islands, skerries, and islets that offer perfect opportunities for swimming, boating, and outdoor adventures. Islands like Bragdøya, Ny-Hellesund, Dvergsøya, and Randøya are popular getaways where you can enjoy coastal life in scenic surroundings. Eat freshly baked bread and shrimp on the smooth rocks, dip your toes in the sea from a dock, or take a refreshing swim. The archipelago is beautiful all year round, and in the autumn and winter seasons you can really feel the forces of nature on your body out by the sea. There are many ways to experience the archipelago from Kristiansand!
