Day 1:

The first day in Kvinesdal begins with panoramic views and a good breakfast, before continuing to experiences rich in history, culture, and traditions. The day ends with a good meal and an overnight stay that allows time to relax and recharge for the next day.

Utsikten Hotell & Resort

Start the morning with a refreshing breakfast at Utsikten Hotell & Resort while enjoying panoramic views of the Fedafjord. Here, you get a spectacular start to the day with views of both fjord and mountains. The hotel offers a golf package for those who want to play the scenic 18 hole forest course at Utsikten Golf Club. Utsikten is also a popular stop for motorcyclists and cyclists, with secure parking and good facilities.

Explore local cultural heritage

Continue the day with a visit to Knaben, known for its mining history and its role during the Second World War. At Knaben Gruvemuseum, you gain insight into the work that took place beneath the mountain, where 21 levels were developed to extract molybdenum.

For maritime history, it is worth visiting Bøkkerbua in Feda. During the summer season, you can experience traditional cooper craftsmanship and purchase barrels in various sizes.

 

 


 

Via Ferrata Knaben

Climbing experiences with a view

For those seeking an extra challenge, Knaben Via Ferrata offers a spectacular climbing route up Knabekniben, 786 metres above sea level. The route provides airy viewpoints and a good dose of adrenaline, while being surrounded by beautiful high mountain scenery. Safety equipment can be rented on site.

The evening is enjoyed here

End the day with dinner at Utsikten Restaurant, where the head chef offers menus prepared with the best seasonal ingredients and several local specialities. The restaurant overlooks the Fedafjord and provides access to a terrace and garden. You can also round off the evening at Tollboden Bakeri, a welcoming spot offering good food and drinks.

 

 


 

Day 2:

The second day in Kvinesdal starts actively, with time on the golf course surrounded by beautiful nature and fresh fjord air. This is followed by relaxing moments and the opportunity to enjoy good meals, before the evening is rounded off at a restaurant with Italian inspired cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere.

Golf experience at a high level

Spend the second day playing the 18 hole forest course at Utsikten Golfpark, named Norway’s Golf Pearl in 2007. Here, challenging play is combined with beautiful views of fjord and mountains.

In addition to the course, the golf park offers good training facilities, a driving range, a pro shop, and a kiosk. Utsikten Golfpark also provides flexible options for playing with family and friends, and offers courses for those who wish to improve their technique.

Relax at Kvinabadet

After an active morning on the golf course, it can be a good idea to slow down with a visit to Kvinabadet in the centre of Kvinesdal.

Here, you will find both indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a sauna with a cold water bucket, a 25 metre swimming pool, and Southern Norway’s longest water slide at over 63 metres. The therapy pool is kept at a comfortable 34 degrees and has a wheelchair accessible ramp. The facility also includes a café and a swim shop, making it a pleasant place to unwind before continuing your journey.
