Summer in the mountains

Fishing, hiking, swimming, reaching new summits? Sightseeing? Culture?
Whatever you prefer, there are many good reasons for making a stop in Hovden.

In the Hovden area there are many fishing lakes and hiking trails. For families the local summit hikes are very popular. On warm summer days we recommend a visit to the Hegni recreation area. This is an excellent starting point for a fishing trip, for a hike or for bicycle trips. You may also relax on the beach or take a swim in the lake.

The activity company Hovden Aktiv offers a number of exciting guided adventures such as river jumping and downhill biking.
The waterpark Hovden Badeland & Spa is a paradise for everyone, with pleasant water temperatures all year round.
