In the mining town of Knaben there is an apartment for eight people in the 2. floor of the Knaben Chapel.
Knaben Chapel is located in the centre of the historic mining town of Knaben. It was built in 1936 and an apartment was built upstairs. The apartment was renovated in 2011. The Chapel is located next to the old general store, Knaben Landhandel. It is a short distance from the mining museum and several hiking trails. It takes five minutes to drive to the skihill Knaben Alpinsenter.
The apartment accommodates 8 people. The living room and kitchen are combined. The kitchen is well-stocked with a high chair for children, coffee maker, water boiler, washing machine. There is a tv in the living room and several channels. There is 4G internet. The apartment is heated by electricity.
There is one bathroom and three bedrooms.
1 bedroom with two bunk beds.
1 bedroom with 1 bunk bed.
1 bedroom with a double bed. Beds may be separated.
Bring your own linen.
The drying room has plenty of space for clothing and shoes.
Rental of Chapel for events:
You may rent the Chapel for social gatherings. Only the inner part of the main room is sacred and may not be used.
The Chapel is made of wood and holds 80 seats. The church tower is located on the ground next to the Chapel due to the weight! The apartment was built for the workers at the mine, and they stayed there for free and in return they took care of varies tasks for the Chapel.
