In 2023, the red City Sightseeing double-decker buses will finally return to Kristiansand! Here you will be taken to the city's top attractions where you can jump off
and on the way.

Stopp 1: Port of Kristiansand

The trip starts at Kristiansand Harbour. The harbor opened in 2017, and contains pleasant seasonal shops on Pier 10. The harbor is a good starting point for experiencing Kristiansand, with the entire center within walking distance.

Stopp 2: Christiansholms Festning

Christiansholm fortress was part of Christian IV's plan for the defense of Kristiansand when the city was founded in 1641. It is a beautiful sight, and is today used for various concerts and events.

Stopp 3: Posebyen

Posebyen is Kristiansand's oldest district, in fact the only district left standing after the town fire in 1892. Here you can take a stroll and look at one of Northern Europe's largest collections of low and old wooden buildings. Here you will also find Posebyhaven, which contains a cafe, bakery, shop, cafeteria and workshops.

Stopp 4: Torvet

Torvet is the heart of the city where you will find, among other things, Kristiansand Cathedral. It was built in 1883-84 in brick and wood in the Neo-Gothic style, and was consecrated on 18 March 1885. This is the third cathedral in the city and the fourth church that stands on this site at Torvet in Kristiansand.

Stopp 5: Gimle gård

Time has stood still at Gimle farm. Here you can experience Kristiansand's history through stories about the five generations who have lived their lives in the stately manor house.

Stopp 6: Kristiansand Museum

Experience the history of Kristiansand and Setesdal and feel what life was like in the old days all the way back to 1580. At the open air museum at Kongsgård in Kristiansand you can visit close to 40 different houses. Join us for a walk through the farmyard, which is surrounded by authentic buildings from Setesdalen.

Stopp 7: Sørlandssenteret

Sørlandssenteret is one of Norway's largest shopping centers with 156 shops, eateries, Playworld and go-karts!

The animal park in Kristiansand is Norway's largest family attraction with a complete range of experiences for the whole family, including accommodation.
