The path starts at Flakke loner, a series of small lakes at the top of Flakkefossen waterfall.

The path follows the Digeelva river. At Vrangefoss the path turns east, passes by the remains of the old cotters farm of Eikhola and reaches another called Homslia. From here you can either follow the ridge down to the starting point or you can follow the path towards Krossvollmyra. - From the 16th century until about 1950 this small river was very important for floating timber.

Starting point - about 2 km. to walk from Birkeland centre to starting point. By car: Pass northwards through Birkeland centre, turn left to Mosfjell, cross bridge and turn left, follow road up past waterfall, continue past rifle range to roads end . - Caution! The path is steep in sections and can be slippery.
